We know how agencies work. We’ve done our time in some of the world’s biggest and best-known shops and even run a few ourselves. To differentiate OBX Thinking from all the other marketing and product development firms out there, we’re building this place around a few core principles:
1. Marketing begins with the product and continues well beyond the sale. The world has changed. It’s no longer about awareness, consideration, a USP, TRPs or eyeballs. It’s about engagement. Your most effective marketing tool is your product or service and everything must be built from there. That’s why our teams have experience leading projects that include product development and packaging, advertising, event marketing, promotions, public relations, social media and mobile marketing.
2. Talent is everything. Marketing is talent driven. Using our extensive national network of all-star marketing and creative talent, we can deliver the right people at the right time for the right price for any project.
3. Minimal staff. You don’t want to pay for people that are sitting around doing nothing, nor do you want someone working on your project just because he happens to have time on his hands.
4. No contracts. All our work is done on a project basis. Period.
5. No prima donnas. Life is too short to work with people who make life miserable. That includes co-workers and clients. If you can’t be pleasant, we’d rather not work for or with you.
